Getting it Wrong.

If God is LOVE, why is there so much fear among many folks about God's love?

Can God's love be so vast and expansive that we are never a part from God's love?

Must I believe that God is love to experience God's love?  Is God's love dependent on my belief?
Does God's nature change on the account of my belief?

Isn't it fear that drives folks to attempt to "get it right" or fear to not "get it wrong"?  I wonder how much of folk's fear doesn't come from perfect love, but comes from something else in them? What if a person's faith that seeks understanding shifts to an awareness of LOVE and nothing more?

Grace + nothing.

Is it only grace because I am willing to respond? Is that grace?

It seems that most negativity, judgement, and division comes from fear; fear at a deeper level; fear of one's belief and/or practicer ,regardless of the system.

I don't know, I'm sure there are some folks out there with the "right" answers, but maybe our quest for the right answers or the need to posses the right answers, is nothing more than a mask for control, which is nothing more than a mask for fear.

Is this what Jesus encouraged his followers to do?

We understand the theology of grace...it's the practice we find difficult.Beacuse we have a greater understanding of it's theology...we always seem to find something in the small print, between the lines that prevent us from living out it's truth. The grace Jesus offered was with out obstacles.
