Love is the Answer
"People always say to me, 'Don't you hate people for what they did to your folk?'" O'Neil said.
"I say, 'Naw, man, I never learned to hate."
"I hate cancer and AIDS and what happened on Sept. 11, 2001. But I can't hate God's creatures. Love is the answer. The greatest thing in all my life is loving you."
If you have not checked out Lee at Necrotic Matricualtion I encourage you do read his recent post Love is the Answer. As one raised in the Deep South, he shares honestly his struggles with a particular person and for a particualr reason. I repsect Lee for his passionate love for God and his willingness to be real about what is happening in his soul.
He led me to question myself about those folks who I don't like for whatever particular reason. I wonder if we can learn to love as easily as we learn to hate.

What God wants out of all of us is unmerited love, because he is love. It's really that simple, Jesus said on Luke 10;27 to love God and neighbors as yourself unconditionally and doin good to your enemies in order to live, but Satan wants to take that away from us and wants us to care mostly about ourselves and not of other people. We did not come here by chance everybody, God put us here for a reason, we were all made in his image to have a true relationship with him through love.
