I think the media is making a big deal out of a terrible accident. Dick Cheney is a person first, no matter what you think of him as a politician. He probably feels terrible for what happened and it was an ACCIDENT. I think there are way more important things for the media to focus on. They are pissed off because they didn't get the story first so they are making a big deal out of it.
VP Cheney took full responsiblity for what he did but from what I have learned in a hunter safety course I took (my son hunts) they were both equally at fault.
Rick, I love everything you write but I am saddened that you put this here. It seems beneath you. Regardless of which wing you reside on, bashing is hurtful.
