Lean on Me.
We all need each other.
As I was driving into the hospital this song came through my speakers and reminded me that we not need be afraid to be in need or vulnerable for sooner or later we will all need one another. There's no getting around it.
Lean on Me
Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you don't let show
Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long'
Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
If there is a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on
Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Rick, One of my favorite songs of all time!
Amen and may I swallow my pride and allow myself to lean, knowing God will provide the shoulders.
I love this song (I am sure that dates me).
It is amazing how much depth is in some of the "non-Christian" music of the past and the present.
My teacher insists there is no such thing as coincidence, and he often notes what song is playing when someone asks him a question and points out that it gives the answer.
Lean on Me is one of THOSE songs. Methinks this wasn't a coincidence.
Yepp very good song indeed.
