What Would God Ask?
WWGA: What would God ask?
If God were to ask you a question, what would God ask you? Have you ever considered this question? I often think of what I would ask God, but rarely do I ponder what God would ask me. I am reading Promise of the Soul by Dennis Kenny and and he suggests that we ask ourselves the questions.
I was thinking about it this morning during my morning meditations and here are a few I came up with:
1. You don’t really believe I love you, do you?
2. What makes you think you have the power to stop me from loving you?
3. Why do you sometimes act like you want to be me?
4. What makes you think that I am hiding from you?
5. Why not put your life on the line for justice and mercy?
6. Resurrection is real, why don’t you trust it for you own life?
7. Who told you being wrong is bad? Why do you believe them?
8. I made you, why would you want to be anything else?
9. Why don't you beleive you can trust me with that?
10. What makes you think I don't hear you?
Voltaire said, "Judge a man by his questions rather than his answers. "
These are a few that popped into my head. I am curious, what would God ask you?

Why don't you take that way of escape when I provide it for you?

Really?
Then would you please tell your face? Evidently, it doesn't know...
I told you I'd carry that, why won't you give it to me?
Why do you think you need more than me?
Hey! I'm right here in front of you. Who are you singing those "worship" songs to?
Why haven't you ironed your clothes?
Why can't you trust me for money?
Why can't you trust me for your parent's salvation?
Why don't you try being holy and broken instead of running and doing so much?
